I'm not trying to cause an arguement but has anyone here heard CK on radio kent tonight? He virtually touted himself for the gravesend job on there and didn't sound very optimistic about the ground.

No, i swear i'm not being naughty. It really did come across that way and even the bloke in the studio implied that afterwards.

Was at the game and heard the interview, it sounds like it all hinges on the ground thats what Gravesend are waiting on. Think Chris would stay if grounds a def. But he has to go if not.

Got to agree. CK was sounding like a possible transfer would not be out of the question. Sounded to me like he wasnt ruling it out, should the offer come along. Even mentioned he thought about giving up the teaching job too and the thoughts of full time managementship wern't far from his mind. I was waiting for him to say he was tied to the gate and wouldnt leave us but he didnt therefore one has to think that a move could be imminent. Really and truly speaking his next move if any will be known after the councils decision,I'm sure of that.Am sure he will rough it out with us though for a while yet.

He was asked if he would like to go full time ( as in gravesend job is fulltime) and he said well i think i've done teaching long enough now, wouldn't mind etc. Kept stressing that hasn't yet been approached so would be unfair to MFC and GNFC to talk more. He also seemed withdrawn when asked about ground, almost resigned in fact.

So,on that lets say if the groung gets the OK,CK stays,if not he is off,who can blame him.Funny if you look on the Gravesend fourm they are saying they want him,was not long ago AF was the best in Kent.

He's actually in 4th place in our poll - behind Garry Hill, Hessy and Ade Pennock. Whilst I admit he has a fine track record, I don't feel he is the right man for us.

Desperately hope that CK is going nowhere apart from back to HDP next season with MFC.

Talked to him at the match today, he was his usual self, and I really do think there is nothing in this but our fears concering the current situation.

I think quite honestly CK has got to thinkof himself now. His undevided loyalty to us over the last couple of years or so is way above anything in football today,but now a situation has arisen that really fits in with his life ,and much as I hate to say it I think he would be a fool not to go.None of us can have any complaints.

He has now crept up to 2nd place in our poll.

He did indeed sound as if he was touting for the job, the job has come up at the right time and it is too good a opporunity to turn down. Matt Davison on RK commented that CK was more than interested in the job, first time he has not been upbeat about the ground and this after a great result.

ive listend to it on kentonline and he said hes not even considered it and it would be only to take them in to the football league so why cant i take margate there listen for ye selfs

You have to face it - it looks extremely likely that 'gate are going to lose the battle with the council. CK may love the club but is also a football man and a realist, he will not have a better opportunity than this to go to a club that has everything he needs near his front door, he is not even sure he'll have a job in 2 weeks so if he's offered he's gone.

I think the people in the know actually do know whats going on and they should spill the beans. CK spoke like a condemned man today on RK i'm afraid.
