Thanks Andrew for posting, sadly I think that we were all pretty fed up on Saturday.

 

Whilst I will always agree that everyone has the perfect right to say what they like, you pay your money etc etc.

 

However at least one of the words used on Saturday in my book is completely taboo and to say it about your own players just makes matter worse.

 

The thing that should bind us together i.e. GNFC sadly did not on Saturday.

 

I am not blind, I was as upset, sad, angry as was everyone else. I just do not think shouting abuse atour own players. or the team helps anyone. Everyone of course has a view. But I would feel better about these people if they were to say it to the player concerned face to face, rather than shout it as an anon in the crowd.

 

I take your point regarding how Ref's comments are viewed and I think that says a lot about the game today, that it seems anyone can say anything about anyone and it OK, But call a so called Superstar, or Pop star something and they can get loads and loads of compensation.

 

Let's all put Saturday behind us, we have to support the club and team after all so many of us put so much into the club and Trust etc, financially and time-wise.

 

I just hope the board make a good appointment, sooner rather than later so we can all get back to doing what we do and enjoy best, watching the Fleet, play good football and winning.
