You lot must be easily pleased! My first Slough game this season and I thought it was dire. Pitch was not geat but overall, technical ability and vision was almost non existent. Thats my 104th game so far this season and I have to say one of the least enjoyable. Good Luck for the rest of the season

Winning is what matters from now till end of season Slough's skill factor and passing is always better when playing on a decent surface. Scooter this is what you missed by not coming to see the games against Walsall and Eastleigh. Looks like the pitch is going to be bad next week-end with 2 games in 2 days.

Another good game by Metcalfe, Hodgie out of position but still coming up with the goods and when is the luck going to change for Matt Seedel

Oh I do hate to do it again but its time for the 'comprehensive statistical database' (TRADEMARK) to return.

Going down the goalscorers this season Gary, the front page of the site is incorrect. Hodges is on 12 with Harris on 11 and Matt Murphy on 9. I checked this with my stats and then I double checked with your movie list of the goals. If you add up the first team goalscorers, Hodges ends up on 11, Harris on 9 and Matt Murphy on 8. However, the FA Cup goals from both the Walsall and Yeading matches are not listed and Matt Murphy's Bryco Cup goal against Cheshunt isn't either as it is found in the combined highlights package of that game. By adding these four extra goals onto the totals that gives Hodges 12, Harris 11 and Matt Murphy 9.

Its going away again now I promise, but just remember people, I have a 'comprehensive statistical database' (TRADEMARK) and I am not afraid to use it!

I never read the front page of the website as Paul Stephens is always moaning its never up to date!

I last posted about the website before the race night so "always moaning" is a little strong. Seems everyone else can point out mistakes in the match reports and they are doing a service, but when I do Its moaning. Thanks to BFR I send PM's to Chris or Gary. Course they dont read them or we wouldnt still have Alloway in Goal and Carbon Starting and on the bench for the Eastleigh match report. (Parkin in goal and Kassim not Carbon as the sub)

On a positive note, I like the S1, S2, S3 on the Cheshunt report, hope it can be maintained for the future. (God there he goes raising the bar again)

I am sure all constructive comments are welcome Paul.

Anyway, back to the thread, I can understand what Scouter was saying, it was not the most entertaining game of football you will ever see.

It has to be said that the pitch was looking a little worse for wear although that is to be expected and no criticism of our hosts is intended.

The important thing is we took the points. It thought we played well in patches and all three strikers (Murphy, Seedy and Miller) had good games. Hodgey was excellent at the back - he wants to be careful or he may end up being converted. Mets looks a different player. Did not put a foot wrong.

Cheshunt are frankly in deep trouble. Gyoury and White did look a different class when compared with the rest of that mob. Many of the players must of still been at school. Their 10 was a right fancy dan who has an awful lot to learn before he can play at this level. If they can sign a few more they may avoid sinking like a stone.

Good win.

The comment wasn't aimed at you, Paul, it was aimed at Gary and was only in jest anyway.
