Paul, I expect Woody to kick up a fuss about me saying this, but I'd fancy putting some notes on Dover to beat Windsor tomorrow at 11/5. Since Dover appointed a proper manager i.e. not Browne, they have won at Staines getting their first away win of the season, and scored four in a home win in the county cup. They have got some confidence back and 7 goals in two matches certainly helps. Yes they are bottom of the league but 11/5 seems very generous but then the bookies aren't that clever at picking up on changes at non-league level. Windsor's away record of 4 wins in 12 matches does not justify 10/11 so I think this is where I'd put my money. Certainly good value for a free bet

I am slightly worried about tommorow as with a new manager they will be looking to impress. It's going to be a tough one but it will be the turning point in our season i feel. Still i think we are good enough to beat anyone in the league on our day so i'm sure the lad's will do want's needed!

 

However as you said our away record isn't great so who knows

I'm going with BFR on this one. I calculate that Slough and Dover to win in a double works out at just over 4/1 (I think !!) Well worth a fiver. Might add other games from other leagues too.

 

Plus I won last time I bet on a Slough win-Windsor defeat double, so why not again? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

No fuss??? Blimey! To add what I said in my original post about betting on Dover, Windsor will be without the suspended Jamie Jarvis which adds to my confidence in putting a wager on a Dover win. I may dislike the man greatly but he certainly adds steel to any defence he plays in.

Matt I liked your double idea and have laid some crisp green sheets on it. Obviously when it doesn't come through I'll attack you with an imaginary meat cleaver (note meat cleaver, not matt cleverly)

Glad someone made some cash out of us losing. Thought a draw would of been fair tbh. We had Captin' Birdseye ask us to take the flag's down. Needless to say he got some stick when he walked past in the second half.

 

How bad is the pitch fff Mucked up now? Some of our fans thought that your game could of been called off?
