Next Season

Providing we survive ,we must must must hold on to our staus in this division.

I see from next season it is likely that two clubs will automatically go up from conf. south.

Gives us a 50% better chance.

It seems that some of this seasons new blood is maturing.

If only ,just for a change, we could keep current squad together over the sumer and have proper preparation for the new season. It would make such a difference;and we could get some of those early season wins .Apart from first conf. season we always seem to start poorly and it is down to uncertainty and lack of summer preparation..

It seems that most sides who do well one season ,are the ones who had minimal changes over the summer.

Would love to see this current squad keep together in conf. south next season, add a tall central defender, and one or two midfield players and we wil be a real force next season.

Just hope we survive

Sound thinking, MM, we have a lot of young talent that is maturing fast, and we glimpsed the possibilities they present in the wonderful performance on Tuesday.

I recall CK said something similar in an interview recently, cannot remember the exact content, but it was something along the lines of this kind of situation can be the making of a good player.

What we must not and cannot let happen is the disolution of this fine club, we have come so far, and achieved so much. If we lost it, we would not get it back in my lifetime.

[color:"blue"]A very important factor is that we can play at Hartsdown in Pre-Season - only that way can we play some 'hard & testing' games agaisnt superior ranked opposition (Conference National / Coca Cola League teams) whose squads will give us a better opposition than the Doc Martens teams we've played for the past two seasons.
