Sorry, I'm lost. You want Town to fail, but you want the club to appoint a better manager. Seems a bit of a contradiction to me.

Fact, only one league game lost all season. Fact, if Town win game in hand they move to the top of the league. Fact, how did they make out in comparison to other ESL clubs in the FA Cup and Vase-Better! Fact, nothing wrong with taking money off the FA!
