No, it's because dogs don't eat tripe anymore - became too expensive.

There were no saturday mornings in the 80's

Actually my Friday nights (along with most other nights)in 1980 were spent drinking in Bill Regans bar at thong lane and if I took time to look out of the window there was a very young Andy Hessenthaler outside honing his football skills and building up his fitness levels while I drank my own bodyweight in lager.
I can't help feeling twentyfive years later that while his carreer is coming to an end I am still a fat b*st*rd.......one of us was wasting our time and it wasn't me.
