Hess has gone to hull to link up with Taylor. There's still a chance he could come back. He's not going to up and move his family from Kent when his daughter is in one of the most important stages of school, studying for GCSE's, and his son is just going on to secondary school.

Hess for fleet manager, gets my vote every time.

Ex Dover boss Steve Browne. His record at Dover was second to everyones but he talks a good game.

You should go for Chris Kinnear who is one of the best bosses in the non league. Margate are finished pretty much so its the logical choice.

I say give Wobbly Wayne a shot at it.

He has seen many top quality matches,

a vast experience of non league and can

spot a good player !!

Thanks for compliment and if the club need me I would be willing to serve ! I have an assistant already in mind.

Just off to do a bit of scouting this morning..

Spotted Englands centre back in 8 or 9 years time, just going to check on his progress.

But in all seriousness, after weighing up the pros and cons of what each manager being touted (or not in some cases) brings to the table I have come to the conclusion that CK would be my manager of choice.

Well thats it. Just watched the FA Cup Review this morning on Sky Sports 1.

Nigel Winterburn just said he would like to have a go at sorting out and coaching a non league club "maybe someone in the conference".(Not sure what he is up to at the mo, forgive my cheeky ignorance)and wants to give it a try in the lower leagues.

I'm off to find his cheeky email address or his agent. Will be back soon.

Some things are possible. Keep the faith.

Oh. Err.. the famous GNFC sniper toilets enable you to see a shot of the action while you are having a shot yourself. Who said men cant do 2 things at once?

The picture if enlarged shows a fellow fleet fan enjoying himself.

Now, Ive emailed some cheeky people about Nigel and await their response.

Funny thing is that Paul Parker is out of work - good credentials, ex Man Utd and England full back - Euro experience, knows the Kent scence and has experience at lower league level.
Could HE be offered a coaching role?

Well after his resounding successes at Chelmsford and Welling, I would have to say NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talking of people out of work, I bumped into Ben Abbey watching a match this morning.

He has taken a short break from playing whilst he sorted out a house move , and is now a free agent.

You would of thought that maybe a club with a forward line problem , might be interested !!

But We need to find a goal scorer from somewhere.

Maybe a loan signing from a League 1/League 2 side is the answer? I would be suspect the wages can be afforded seeing as Matt Lovell, Chris Moore, Craig McCalister have all gone.

The problem though, would surely be trying to sign someone who wouldn't mind playing part-time.

I think we really need someone with experience to take the club forward, even although the capture of Nigel Winterburn would probably provide the club with a media boost. I think Saturday's heavy defeat just shows that we need someone sooner rather than later. We need to ensure we survive this season ok and then build for next season. If at the same time we can have a good run in the FA Trophy, then that would be a bonus. Still think that Hessenthaler would be a good choice, he has experience of manageing and can still play, but I think that option has gone. Let's just hope the club find the right man!!!!!
