In the FRIENDS OF SLOUGH thread, I made an offer to put some money where my mouth is, after exhorting people to join the Trust and join in the fundraising, which in the midst of all the many posts may get missed, so I will repeat it here. We need to get as much money into the coffers as possible, Club or Trust and one of the ways is Match ball sponsorship.

 

Sponsoring a matchball costs £50. I am prepared to sponsor the matchball at two games between now and the end of the season for up to £25, if anyone, singly or in a group, is prepared to put up the remaining £25 for each ball.

 

Just think, if we don't like the score, we can take our ball back!!

 

Do we have any takers?

OK, is this Exiles Sponsorship idea for a Matchball or Game sponsorship? A Game Sponsorship is £100, but there is a benefit for both types if it helps those who are worried about extra cost. For a game the Sponsor gets in free and can take up to four people with them, I think it is the sponsor and one other for a ball sponsorship. I have a season ticket, so I happy to give up my attendance for the Exiles.

 

Say which you would prefer, and we can arrange it with Chris S - OK Chris?

OK Guys,

 

I have deposited £25 with Chris Sliski for the sponsorship, so now Exiles it is up to you for the other £25 to sponsor a matchball or £75 to sponsor the match and there are still games available for both.

 

Those who have made promises - please contact Chris, those who want to sponsor, also contact Chris.......

Today Andrew i collected £40 from 8 fans, i do this every home game not always £40 some fans cant make all the games. We put in £5 each we have sponsored players and we also sponsor games. I used to go and ask them at first but now they come and look for me, this is our 4th season come and join us. Martin BFR Liam Kevin Ted J&D Foghorn Roger alias the Barmey Army..

Horsham Rebel and I will sponsor a match ball for one of the two matches, add with the Fiver from Brighton Rebel and a tenner from Roy in Brum, we are nearly there for another - Scouse Jamie, was yours an offer or an expression of support? Only a tenner to go and we have another ball sponsored.............

If it is a Match sponsorship you are after Brighton Rebel, we are still short - £25 +£10 from you and £10 from Roy in Brum, so we will still need £55 more......Scouse Jamie expressed interest - not that there is any pressure, mind, on him or any other Exiled Rebels.........

Right, Another £25 lodged with Chris S plus £25 handed over from Horsham Rebel - we are sponsoring one Match ball - and just a tenner needed for one more... £40 pledged - come on , celebrate a great win over Thurrock today..........
