Dont think its much of a lost,when he did play he done ok but read somewhere he was thinking of a move,if his heart is not MFC then thanks but goodbye.

I thought he was a decent player, and gave us alot of defensive options ,particularly as he could play in both full back positions.

 

Hopefully there will be no return to the days of Alex and PB at wing back.

 

They both seem to be finding their feet and ever improving in their correct positions of midfield

shame was a usefull player but wouldnt have been able to hold a 1st team place with a fit greeny in the picture still its another member of our small squad gone.

I always thought he was good defensive cover at either full back position or centre or midfield.

 

Maybe if Greg is injured he could still be an option.

Looks as though Green is still out for a while?

 

Mind you it seems i'm about the only person in the world who saw any potential there.

He did seem to be getting better every game however.

 

In the nicest possible way, he may be even cheaper now aswell !!!

Now Murphy was not a patch on Green, but boy could we do with him now deputising for Green

I know one should not dwell in the past, but i just feel it was such a loss that an extra effort was not made to keep him.

 

Can play anywhere across back four-i.e cover for both full backs and in centre and impressed today
