Stumbled upon a programme on UK History at lunchtime called Time Trail - not sure if anyone here has heard of it?

 

Basically it was this scarfer who was going round St Albans looking for clues to the story of St Alban, visiting our fine cathedral and various other churches, pondering upon the meaning of why the Six Bells is so called etc.

 

Have to say our fine city looked magnificent.

Geez, don't want to appear a scarfer or anything but I do have it on tape!

 

Did you see the closing shots where they do the helicopter sweep over the city? It's quite spectacular! I think they said it's only about £150 a go.

I'm not suggesting they would question the quality of either the writing or the material but that they'd probably have doubts about the content: I can't see them wanting to print some of the episodes that I've been witnessed.

I was seriously thinking of writing my autobiography a while ago, I know mine will be a great read.

Mind you it took long enough to plough through the 155 pages that made up last year, god knows how i'd managed the previous 29.

No title yet, but have written just over 8,000 words so far and feel like I've hardly started!

 

I did a search on the net and found out that the average novel is 40-60,000 words, so I'm well on course for that at the moment.

Just checked and last years diary was 146,848 words so that should give you an idea.

 

I was going to write mine in sections rather than a start - finish style, e.g friends, love, jobs etc.

I'm doing mine like Fever Pitch, except using songs to map my story out rather than football matches.
