Aldershot have moved to bolster their promotion hopes by signing experienced defender Tarkan Mustafa.

The 31-year-old has agreed a deal until the end of next season with the Shots following his recent departure from financially troubled Hornchurch.

 

Mustafa has previous Conference experience with Dagenham, Doncaster, Kingstonian and Rushden and Diamonds, who he helped win the title in 2001.

 

The right-sided defender had recently been training with Peterborough.
