For saying this (posted by me in the 'jokes' forum David Beckham has reportedly turned down an £8 million pound switch to Newcastle. Speculation has been rife in recent weeks that Real Madrid manager Wanderley Luxemburgo has been looking to ship Beckham out, with Santos Robinho mooted as a possible replacement.

 

However it seems Beckham has turned down the move. Beckham is quoted as saying: "I could never join Newcastle after what the Toon-Army has done to South East Asia"

I wouldn't bet on that JR..........they said the same here when smoking was banned in pubs.........they are still open and funnily enough get the people who wouldn't go BECAUSE of the smoking!

I have never smoked, but i always expected to be wreathed in smoke in a Pub. My London born and bred Grandfather used to go to the Pub so he could smoke, because of my granmother wouldn't let him smoke in the house. R.I.P. Grandad!

I can't see that this is a case of political correctness, it's a case of bloody stupidity. I bet everyone who knows what the toon army is had that thought go through their minds.
