Yeh, I think at this time lads and lasses to not only praise the Youth/U19 team for the last 5 years courtesy of Johnny Lawrence but alst to mention the part played by Alan Moulder during that time and of course Paul Marler in the last year or so, not forgetting Deano's dad Bim before Paul, well done team and to Alan and Paul, let's keep this team going in some shape or form.

I for one used to enjoy the Sunday afternoon 2pm kick offs and they are sorely missed, but of course I realise that the club's needs must come first.

As far as I know, Jamie Southern is staying.

 

I spoke to him today and he said he would love to stay.

 

He went to a meeting last night and was asked to stay, he has just got to draw up a new contract...

Not so Billy.....we didn't get 'booted out' of anything...we have failed to fulfill many fixtures this season and were offered the opportunity to resign from the league without penalty...why we have failed to fulfill these fixtures is yet to be explained to me...no doubt someone will throw some light on that.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I hope so.....

 

but it remains a matter of fact that the emails from the league secretary (that I have copies of)... were all ignored..

 

anyway...

 

In the absence of any information (bearing in mind that for the first week after we came back into the club you had all resigned..along with the gatemen... the tannoy man..the kit man.... the butcher.... the baker....the tie maker and the breadmaker....and a few others who shall remain nameless)..........forgive me for thinking that anyone had an agenda here...silly old cynic that I am..... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

anyway....we understandably had no choice but to take that option and Tony Choules will now oversee the youth development and make the decisions for now and next season as far as that level is concerned.... For the duration of this season the management shall organise as many friendly games for the young 'uns as is possible...

 

they are the future of our club and need to be managed and encouraged. We shall endeavour to support the youth level as much as our new management team require of us.

doesn't matter bridgey...its understandable that some players will follow Garry Hill to his knew club...(when he gets one that is <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> and some will want to come back that Garry never rated or gave a chance too....no problems with that...one mans meat and all that.....its football....

 

we'll have to wait and see what Choulsey gets up to.....your guess as of tonight mate is a good as mine....

 

on a personal note...I would like to see vinny back....mark graham back....kilo back....mooro back...(he'll be available soon for sure)...and I'd like to see locky stay in a development/coaching/playing capacity as well as hoping beyond hope that scottie stays with us...

 

in fact I hope they all stay but hey....lets be real here...its choulseys choice....
