Haarhy playing up front - report says he looks as though he's a bit lacking in confidence.

 

They've also hit the outside of the post and generally had more of the play.

Just back, it was COLD ! down there. The attendance was under 300. The fans behind the goal made a whole lotta nose considering. Well done them. Really should have took their shirts off. As for the game. It really dosent matter very much. First half Gravesend were awful. These long balls really dont work. Second half far better. They deserved an equalizer but another half an hour and we would have all got frost-bite. Play that way from the start next time 'Fleet' and you wont go far wrong.

 

Oh....nice goal. Wilko needs a harder punch.

I see that Luke Moore was left on the bench again?? Really thought that Andy would have given him a chance tonight, and against Tonbridge next week, after the praise he got for his 10 minutes or so on the pitch at Eastbourne. Perhaps he's been kept for the reserve fixture which I believe we have tomorrow, and that could also be the reason for the first team tonight.

Only 240 in attendance but surprisingly more noise and singing than our usual home games made it a reasonable atmosphere. Best way to keep warm and not fall asleep I suppose.

 

Poor game considering our first team against their res's. Sorry to say it but we wouldn't have scored if we played all night. Second half was better but if we continue to play like that, there won't be anymore points this season!

 

Terrible punch by Wilko straight to their player who brilliantly tucked it away from edge of box. Can't see Pullen losing his place for the league games.

The way we are currently playing I can`t see us winning those handfull of "crunch" games at fellow strugglers. Where the hell are we going to get another 14 points from? Bit unfair on Wilko, thought he had a reasonable game, was under a lot of backpass pressure. Sure the punch could have been better but the defence stood & watched the player shoot albeit from an unlikely angle. Harrhy was enthusiastic, but thats about it.

...I agree with most of the match comments. Lots of huff and puff which was nice to see after the poor effort against Aldershot but no class anywhere. Too many nothing balls agian and so few efforts on target although their keeper made a great save early on in the second half.

If we can't create chance we are not going to win matches and the moment we continue to create very little. Boro hit the post twice and I would not blame Wilko for the punch as he got it away under a lot of preesure and the bloke hit a peach of a shot.

Hurrhy tried hard but gives us nothing new and it was good to see Porteer back altough an early slip could have given them a goal before they scored. 240 gate at least saw some footballl and no queues for chips and booze was a novelty.

I still can't see where the next win is coming from unless something changes...
