No...they have played too many games compared to the established title contenders. They will probably finish above Waltham Abbey at this rate though!

they are a good side (they played well when we drew with them earlier in the season). however, I'm certain that the winners will come from ETFC, Burnham and WA. The favourites to my mind are now Burnham...just.

Good to see such a tight finish developing.

 

I can't see the fat lady singing until the last few weeks though.

 

I wonder if the ESL end of season fixtures will manage to turn what could be a thrilling conclusion into a massive anti-climax as usual.

I was impressed with the "Side" when they beat us 1-4 a few weeks ago. I predicted then that they were my outside tip for top position. They have brought in a few eastern block players that are very useful. The Side's skipper Danny Gilley looked awesome as well.

 

It really will be a close call came the end of the season. My personal hope is that the Towner's do it this year. The behind the scenes graft that goes on there is exemplary.

As i said on another post although we was awfull last night i tought B'Side were a very usefull side with some decent players, the two lads in the middle of the park are especially lively.

 

They are the best side i have seen this season and the team Rodders has assembled plays football the way it should be played, very impressed.

barkingside are very strong, i was at the game last night and they do look good. impressed with algerian kid lee. (number 11). sawbo shocking though. missed number 2 when he went off, good player.
