Now then Mr Abbeynut, you know exactly what I meant. Of course flukes count in the result of the game. They are just ineligible for any 'best goal' competition.

Jason's double at Hullbridge this season takes a lot of beating. First one he beat 29 defenders and 8 'keepers to slot home (alright, but he when past a few) and the second (which I was right behind) would have made Roberto Carlos blush. Both goals worthy of a bigger audience.

Then again who can forget John Burrow's effort at home to Eton Manor in January '92! The boy has been dining out on it ever since. Mind you any goal against Canvey Pigisland is always worth savouring, especially Nick Lowery's long-range effort there in '94.
