The game was played under adverse playing conditions as the middle of our pitch has decided to hold more water than Harlow swimming pool.

 

The first half was evenelly contested with both sides trying to get forward as quickly as possible.

 

Concord had a couple of one on ones and we had a few pot shots from outside the box. The breakthrought came when Chritian Wheeler made one of his trademark surges into the opposition hald and unleashed a shot from 30 yards. This landed right at the feet of Greg Pike 10 yards away who turned his marker and bent the ball round the keeper into the bottom corner.

 

The second half was again eventully fought with not much action until Dan Wardle was brought down in the Concord box. Greg pike buried the spot kick 2-0.

 

Concord threw everything at us in the last 10 mins and a series of corners and free kicks put us under pressure but nothing we couldn't handle. (Apart from the corner I decided to juggle with.NB thanks to my defence for getting me out of that one!)

 

In all another good performance with stand out contributions from mark Watters, Wheeler and Matt " Greg Luganis" Hayter.

I thought we was superb again sat played some nice footy in that swamp, hopefully we can keep that going tonight as there gonna be a decent young side.
