Just found this on http://www.nonleagueryman.net whilst I am still waiting for the official line from the club to come through.

Monday 5th August - Confirmation of details surrounding Kingstonian and Slough

We can now clarify the situation surrounding the sagas at Kingstonian and Slough Town. Last Friday, the board of directors of the Ryman League received a letter from the FA stating that Kingstonian FC had failed to obtain approval to a proposed Creditors Voluntary Arrangement. The league had indicated that if the CVA was approved then it would allow the transfer of membership from the company in administration to a new company as long as all football creditors were paid in full. As the club have failed, they have been placed in suspension with immediate effect and have until 5.00pm on Thursday, 29th August to resolve their position. Should this be done by next Monday, then the club will be allowed to start the season, but otherwise the league will consider the club's position in a meeting on Friday, 30th August.

At the same meeting, the league received a copy of a court order filed at Companies House showing that FRUS Ltd, the company which runs Slough Town FC, contrary to reports yesterday, had been wound up by HM Customs & Excise. As a result, Slough have also been placed in immediate suspension. However, the league are now in possession of correspondence which shows that the order will be rescinded on Wednesday, 14th August, as long as certain conditions have been fulfilled. The company have assured the league that they are taking steps to comply with those conditions. Until the order is rescinded, the club will remain suspended from the league.
