Top of my list -

 

New central defender to replace Smith/Barnett

 

Two new forwards

Disagree entirely:

 

midfield, midfield, midfield which has been the consistent weakness for 3 seasons.

 

Maybe also Michael Johnson on left wing/midfield currently only on fringe of Woking squad-he would inject pace and quality balls for the frontrunners.

 

You would think he may grab the chance for regular first team football

Sadly I'd say Edwards is the weak link and would have preferred pre-season trialist Duku to Barnett.

 

I think that we need a couple of midfielders, Benevides is great at creating chances, but is let down by his poor distribution and final touch.

 

I'd say that we need a better 'keeper before we look for another forward.

Duku was too expensive by far and Lewes have the cash.

 

How can you say Edwards is no good when he has played 400+ games for the Club.

 

As to Trego. Does he get to training? Weston is a long way from Margate. If the shot he misjudged and let hit the bar/upright yesterday had gone in the result could have been very different.

To above poster,i think we all agree that Edwards has been great, but on current form is on the decline and a defensive weak link.I hope he recovers his best form.

 

Its a bit like saying that Bobby Charlton is still a better player today than Van Nistelroy just because he played more often.

Michael Johnson signed for Farnborough today, so he was not far off being at 'our level'.

 

Believe me is quality-really sad he has not signed for the Gate.

 

Bit of a stupiud post really as i guess CK was never after him; but is simply a player who i really rate

Michael Johnson has only signed for Farnborough until end of season, so maybe CK can get him for next season.
