Excellent news that the lease has been agreed.

 

How much work would need to be done on the ground to get it up to League standard, so that we can at least take our place in the LDV next season ?? <img src="/forums/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

I think this has been mentioned before - the main problem is (apparently) the seated stand over the offices - it is all wooden.

 

Also the capacity of the ground needs to be 6,000?

I was aware of the stand issue, Super Daz - apart from anything else, I think we need 1000 seats for league standard ?

 

I also guess that to increase capacity, we would need safety barriers at the Northfleet end and an additional exit from the ground ?

 

It was a little tongue in cheek to suggest it could all be done for next season, as I suspect the work involved would really need to be done in the close season, but we'll see.

 

And anyway, being realistic, lets cross one bridge at a time - lets just get ourselves a safe finish in the Conference to start with - anything above mid table will be a bonus, I think, but will we really care where we finish, as long as its out of the bottom 3 ??
