Exactally.What goes around,comes around.Its just come around a lot quicker than people expected.

 

It may well come back to haunt Town in a few months (who knows).Then the Abbey boys will be all over this forum like a rash,as they were when the going was good a few months back.Football supporters have long memories and we at Town won't forget the triumphal mickey taking attitude on these forums by some of the Abbey representatives when they were 7 points clear,or the reception some people got in the car park after the Abbey/Town clash.

 

Nothing against Abbey personally.But if you dish it out,you've got to take it.None of the Town fans dissapeared from these forums when we were having a rough time.

Some of the abuse today was no better, at half time my dad was standing outside the bar and in a group approaching the bar one of them was shouting theres a load of them w****** from up the road aqnd theres one pointing a finger right in my dads face, I bet he wouldnt have been so brave on his own.My dad says that is the last time he ever goes to Abbey as there is too much bother there.

After the game as the Romford fans were singing about your not top of the league the Abbey number 14 was starting on at a romford supporter and gave him a load of foul mouthed abuse as he ran into the changing rooms.

A young short bloke in an Abbey tracksuit,so he was a player,started to have a go at a single older romford supporter as he was saying see you to his mate and headed to his car, the romford bloke commemted that the abbey person was too young to drive and was meet with the outburst "if you were my grandad i would kill myself" and then he turned around and smiled at his mates.

 

Some decent people there are being let down by a few others.

your right Brunob,after the wabbey had a go at one of our male supporters he turned on one of the female supporters. Probaly felt safe attacking a woman. But scurried off when he started to get a bit of attention from some of the other Boro fans. You should not dish it out if you can't take it. That aside I met some nice Wabbeys as well.

The tall 6ft 6 No14 for Abbey was upset at the end of the match and unwise in his actions and behaviour as a result.

Was it the no 14 ? He was like a stroppy child. As I said a bunch of small timers. Happpy to dish it out but can't take it back. Still it will come with maturity one hopes.

There was about 25 town-ers at EFC trophy game today.Both sides were poor.I'm sure EFC could play a lot better.

Maybe a nice trip to Bedlington will await them in the next round...Been there with Romford..a naffing long way to go and lose 2-1, but top people at the Pit Welfare ground. Winchester's demise was a bit of shock as was Skelmersdale going out. Third time lucky for AFC Sudbury? I notice that only three sides north of Brum left in it now, so maybe having Tottenham for the final venue is not such a bad idea after all. Having said that, it will turn out that Colne play Terriers in the final. Wonder if the FA will move it again?
