According to Andy, on RK tonight, Nick Harrhy will be on the bench tomorrow - I thought Mr Pennock had nicked him from us?

 

Apparently, in line with our luck at the moment, the player Andy virtually had signed up, has injured himself at his current club, so the signing will be delayed. No names mentioned, of course.

Perhaps it's one of those dual registration things

Andy loaned Nick to Welling with an agreement that if required , he would come back.

As we have only 2 recognised strikers at the club + Pinns, that is why he has returned.

Ade didn't nick Nick, if you pardon the pun, he simply accepted a loan from a previous manager who he happens to be still on good terms with.

Long may this relationship last, as it can help to keep fringe, squad players fit.

on Confguide its says that we released him then a couple of days later Ade signed him for Welling and i am sure David H said he had been released.

He wasn't on a contract, so we couldn't have loaned him to anyone.

I'm not convinced that he actually went to Welling. After all against Lewes that only had enough players to put three on the bench, and there was no sign of Mr Harrhy. Surely if he were a Welling player he would have been then.

According to the Welling website, Mr Harrhy was one of the 3 subs v Lewes and he played the last 5 minutes??

 

I can only guess Welling had him on non contract terms as well, and Andy has tempted him back with the promise of substitute appearance tomorrow, plus probable starting positions v Stevenage on Tuesday and Tonbridge in the rearranged Kent Cup game?
