Is he the lad from the reserves then? If so, he is a box to box player. Quite quick, hard working and looks good on the ball. My only concern is that he might be a bit light weight.

well if the mamanger thinks that he warrants a place within the first team setup he must be reasonably good, im sure Eddie will take as much good talent as he can get!

Yeah, Leigh (and his brother Jonny) have both been reserves regulars this season and have both impressed reguarly. Leigh is the less attacking of the two but, as Martin says, he works box to box and maybe the type of player who could help with the loss of Wilko, Shep, etc. If he is included on Saturday I think it would be a good opportunity for him as he has shown some good spells for the ressies. Just to add to that, Jonny looks a very good player as well and, as a quicker, attacking player, would also be well worth a look for the first team, although he is currently connected to another team so no can do at the moment (so I believe anyway).

Well we have signed Leigh from Flackwell according to the paper. I would guess that is where Jonny is as well....

Martin, one of them was with Flackwell and one with Marlow last I heard. I didn't want to commit to which one Jonny is with as I didn't know where Leigh had come from (not easy to get the Slough Observer here in pikie Bracknell!). So presumably Jonny is the one at Marlow. Personally I'm glad that we have signed a couple of the ressies up (Kassim as well) as the stiffs have had a good season and the Mason boys, Kassim and others (Lovegrove at the back?) have been near on regulars in this run. With a smallish squad and a lot of fixtures left to play they could be vital for the season run in.

i think were gonna need all the fit players we can get especially as we get into april/may time, its going to be a very heavy schedule! also it would be good to see the reserves get a chance in the first team and be seen by more fans who dont go to reserve games

The signing and superb displays from Micheal Murphy from last January helped turn around the teams fortunes into gaining promotion last season, hope Leigh can help do the same for us this term with the absence of the hard working dependable and iraplaceable Wilko.
