15 Feb Canvey Island - away - Thameside Trophy!!!

 

Team

We have signed a young player on loan from Colchester whose name sadly escapes me. I think he's a midfielder/winger who is likley to be in the squad on Saturday. Colchester didn't fill in the forms on time for him to be available for the Trophy game.

 

We are also looking at two more experienced players and are hoping for some positive news on that front next week. Watch this space!!

Craig Johnston, 19 year old Midfielder, 5'10"

 

According to the Col Ewe website he has "sizzling pace" and has given experienced second string defences no end of problems with his ability on the ball. Hes also made a couple of first team appearances on the bench. Recently been on loan to Halstead Town

I didn't think we still played in the Thameside Trophy. Reckon our reserves will fulfill that fixture.

Yep probably and we'll probably lose against you guys as well. In fairness the ESC is way down our list of priorities.

Scum reserves V's our Youth. Of course any game against that lot is well worth winning.

The Thameside is a bit of a farce. One year I don't think it got completed!

Well be interesting to see our star of the future perform in this one especially in terms of which ones are prepared to show some pride and passion for the club, raise their games and get stuck into the pikey scum
