Bucks/Berks Cup v Wycombe Ticket Details

I think it is safe to say that none of those people have ever been to a Windsor gaem that clashed with a Slough game. But yes those people were in the majority at Windsor vs Cheshunt

I'm not sure this will get posted so here goes (as I don't really understand how this whole thing works!). I enjoy reading this forum (pretty much every day at work!) and attend most games home and away with my dad, but have never tried to post anything before today's visit to Eastleigh. Motivation for posting - the best performance of the season!!

to be honest Slough might of played as well as they ever have done but were not made to look as good by a team higher up.

Although saying that most of the game was Walsall on the attack

sure, lets start taking this magnificant achievement away from the team...

I have just said it was a great achievment Nath and i am not trying to take it away from the team, it was one of the best days days in the clubs recent history for christ sake! But even Eddie says we didn't play as well as he would of hoped in his post match interview!

Here's how the Walsall match was:

A) We did not PLAY to our best. Kept on giving the ball away sloppily at times and we could have used the ball better. Only kept the ball well in the last 10 minutes.

B) Our defending and workrate was awesome. Walsall had very few chances and the players ran their socks off.

With Walsall we did not play great football, but we worked hard and took our chances and had some luck

At Eastleigh yesterday we played great football, worked hard and took are chances - and missed a few - it could have been 7 or 8 nil.

The frustration which I think we have with the team is that chances are not taken (lack of shots) and that sometimes luck is not with us - look at how many times Matt Seedle has hit the post/bar in the last few games!

I personally am happy with how we are playing as I know the luck will come our way and that results are coming - as I posted earlier in the week we had won over 53% of all games so far and Eastleigh has increased this figure.

I think the problem is - if there is a problem - that the vast majority of regular posters on here are from the behind the goal lot. We watch the games together and sort of know each other. We therefore read our posts in a certain way - knowing the stance of the other posters. For newbies or those who stand elsewhere it is more difficult.

But I can't stress enough that new posters are always welcome. If you look through old threads you will see that I am one of the strongest supporters of anonymous posts.

And I am not one of the group who stands behind the goal, so am not always in on the "in" jokes, but you don't have to let that put you off. If all the people listed didn't post, it would be just like the Cheshunt Forum - a bit like opening an undiscovered Egyptian Tomb, with the Amber Spectre having a good haunt!

I also registered when I felt I wanted to post. There are some serious issues facing the club and the more people who come on here and give their views on those problems, the better, so that the Trust Board, who are regular posters and readers, know what people think. So all you Anon's who are real STFC fans, there is nothing to be afraid of in registering, let us all know what you think and JOIN THE TRUST!

RE: anonymous posts.

I've just worked out that, at work and at home, I have ELEVEN different usernames and passwords to remember, of which this site is one. They can't all be made the same because the systems have different rules about the format, the period of validity, etc.

Frankly having the ability to post without having to go through all this logging in stuff is very welcome.
