TWO-FACED

Firstly, I think its quite obvious that there will not be an MFCSA meeting.

I will not be catergorised by Mr Cook as "sympathetic to the council", that may be his view, but he is wrong. I may have used to work for the Council (before the Tories got there) and I know how things work there, but that does not make me for or against.

Whoever noted that my wife works there is technically correct, but she works for KCC not TDC.

Unfortunately Tony, it has been difficult to get to many games this season and I am only sorry that you can't remember acknowledging me on at least a couple of those accasions.

As for "former voice" , not everyone does or is able to do something forever, inevitably the word "former" applies to a lot of people in a lot of situations, it is not something one should worry about.

I have just re-read Cookies reply to my original posting and the first thing he does is disregard the comments because of a perceived viewpoint.

I rest my case M'lud

I never once said you was two-faced. All I was doing was responding to your original reply at the top and I also highlight the quote u used and therefore responded to that.

As you're the new "voice" of margate, You have got to stop slagging off and blaming the council for this saga. You are doing more harm then good by doing that.

Now I live no where near the ground, and I love the club and I am entitled to have my own views. As Ian Day has already pointed out to you, if you want people to respect your views , you have to respect theirs.

I just hope the club has given the council a proper plan, that they have requested. If they haven't then, well the club may fold and therefore may have to start from scratch again. I would rather they do the latter and come out of the system and start from the bottom. (That's if they can do it like that!!)

they would still need a ground, so they may have to ground share until a new one is rebuilt to Rymans league standard. (i.e like southwood)

You see, these are the positive things the fans should look into, instead of chasing a lost cause.

Cause is not lost yet.

But a heartfelt plea, boys, please stop sqabbling amongst each other.

The only way we can retain any credibility in supporting our club is to keep dignified, clean and honourable. And it is still possible to have passion whilst behaving properly. And it is still possible to have differences of opinion in how this support may be forthcoming.

Mr Baker excepted, as he has made himself known to us and presented his opinions in a polite way, we get anonymous posts on here that are just designed to get us going. It's their form of sport and we just encourage them if wqe go off on one. (and yes, I have been guilty in the past too)

So me first, and then the rest of you, can we all calm down a bit? After all, we are playing tomorrow, Tuesday, and after that as well. Let's be footy fans, as is that not what we are fighting for?

By the way Mr Baker, there's nothing two-faced about Cookie, I disagree with you on that, as on many other things in your post. Cookie has been single minded in his opinions from the start, so you know where you are with him. And at least he was prepared to get up off his butt and fight for what he believes in.

After reading the above posts,I cant belive just what the hell is going down here,we all seem to be Margate fans,so whats the problem, why cant we all for the next few weeks stick together and help the club through the most bad time of its long history after all we all agree we want the club to be here and not fold.People will always disagree that this should have been done and that should not have happed but that is yesterday, what is important is what happens tommorow.Me I feel sorry for the man that nobody mentions Mr Chris Kinnear,he has stayed with us through good and now bad times he could have many times walked away but he is loyal to MFC,can we not put our difference of opinion aside for the next couple of weeks and get on with what matters MARGATE FC.
