Been mentioned before but a former Margate player's being interviewed on Radio Kent this coming Sunday.

 

It's definitely Les Fell who played for us during the 30's and the 50's. He also spent many years at Charlton and played in the 1946 FA Cup Final for them, making him one of only two post-war Margate players to have played in a Cup Final.

 

The interview's scheduled for 14.40 to 15.00 on Sunday, part of the Jonathan Witchell (?) show I believe.

 

Les is in his 80's now and he's a lovely bloke so have a listen if you're able to.
