I've only been at Eton Manor two seasons so I can't really judge. But one of the best players I've played with at this level is Tony Marsh, left back or centre half. He is at Manor now but I've played with him at other clubs. He is 29 now and because of work he can't train often but I can honestly say I have never seen him have a bad game or lose out in a tackle! Solid, hard, composed and committed. If he trained more often god knows how good he would be. It's funny he couldn't get in the Ilford team because Margolis didn't rate him. Thats how good Margolis is. A message for Darren George. If there is a better left back in the league can you tell me who he plays for .

I can Mr M, Paul Landers of Bowers & Pitsea. Although to be fair to Tony, I haven't seen him play. On the two occasions we played EM this season, I've been on hols (1st game) and with our ressies (1-1 draw).

Bradley Brotherton.

I have given this considerable thought. He is able in midfield and can also score goals. He can win a ball and distribute it and see the way the game is developing.

He was, when the town was young, impetuous and could loose his rag too easily but has managed to overcome that. If he has a fault, he is inclined to play it out of defence and leave the team in trouble. However he is still a better central defender than some who have played in that position, and that does not include the present encumbants of Graeme, Adam and Paul.

His best position is undoubtedly midfield and we have missed him in the past few months.

Emmmm. I would have to disagree. I personally don't think he is that good. From what I've seen of Town I liked your centre half who was good on the ball on saturday. I also think your keeper is good. But I can't judge because I don't watch Town every week. My opinions are based on encounters between the sides.

Likewise all you Eton Manor people out there, Tony Marsh has been a revelation for the club over the past two seasons, yes he was being looked at by southampton, but a certain Lyndon Lynch dropped him from the side when they apparantly came to watch. He is the most genuine bloke i've met in a long time, and long may he stay with the Manor.

He wasn't at his best for Town but he did pull on a Town shirt and that was Martin Saint-hillaire. In terms of up to date performances for Town, it has to be Chopper. He has the ability to play a good couple of leagues higher if it wasn't for his loyalty. It is not just his shot stopping it is his overall marshalling of the defence that stops shots even being hit.
