Yet another clean sheet as well. It looks like Macca at the back is the calming and steadying influence Andy hoped he would be. If he is on £900 per week, it is worth it at the moment if we keep grubbing 1-0 wins. ^ weeks ago we were losing almost every game. Whilst we are still not convincing, the results have at least turned the corner.

Yes - incredible really - only 1 clean sheet in the first 25 league and cup games, and now 4 consecutive clean sheets albeit that 2 have come against a lower level team. And we are now unbeaten in 6 again.

As Andy says, it depends on how you take statistics - 2 wins in last 18 games sounds poor, but 6 unbeaten sounds positive.

Its worth noting, as well, that last season, the long unbeaten run started just before Christmas - this year the first game in our current run was on Boxing Day - lets just hope that last years run now repeats itself this year - not impossible, as the fixtures we have left are largely favourable - the away fixtures at Stevenage, Exeter, Carlisle and Woking being potentially the hardest and our most difficult opponents at home being Saturdays oponents, Aldershot.

Whilst some fans have been quite negative on this board, I still think that we should finish as a comfortable mid table side at worst, and , challenge for the play off places if everything goes right.

Confidence is a major factor and the morale in the side must now be much higher after recent results - that, I'm sure, will reflect itself in better performances going forward.

Lets continue to support the team all the way - we can still make this a real season to remember.

We're like Chelsea - we're building from the back. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/afro.gif" alt="" />

Let's just say I'll be remaining cautious for a little while longer - the only sides we've beaten since October are Leigh (bottom of the Conference) and Eastbourne Borough (from the division below). Having said that, the miserly defensive record at present is encouraging, regardless of the opposition.
