margates currrent position is of there own making yet we shall alll feel sorrry for them.If a buissness needs new premises they do not shut the shop load the lorrry if they have not got anywere to go which is exactly what margate have done when they started digging up the pitch expecting the council to autimatically give them the okay for there ground.they are not a special case and should comply with planning aplications as any other buissenes would be expected to do.they were treated as a special case when they got promotion to the coference in the first place isit one rule for margate and one rule for anyone else?? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Overall you are correct imo(excepting the special case aspect which is allowable excepting we did not meet further timescales).

However, we have spent the last two years paying for our previous sins and there is only so much punishment you can give.

The old Hartsdown Park ground was a dump.

It is easy, very easy with the perfect vision of hindsight to say what should or should not have happened.

You cannot keep rewriting history. The situation has moved on considerably and what is important now, is that the TDC allow the club to proceed with the redevelopment.
