Who wants to jail all burglars and has been sacked for admitting as much

Whilst on holiday recently she was herself burgled??

 

Perhaps she should be jailed for understanding how the vast majority of people in this country feel about the pond life that is so well protected by the present authorities

 

Got some front some people attempting to bring back respect and discpline of a basic nature, she should never be allowed back on the bench

As I read it - She spoke out against the pond life you refer too.

 

Her professional organisation, (Magistrates Assoc, or whatever), received a complaint from DEFENDING SOLICITORS, saying their defendants, (poor little soldiers), wouldn't get a fair trial in her court, and she was FORCED TO RESIGN FROM THE BENCH.

Two problems with her theory:

 

1) Jails are full - no capacity. Simple solution build more jails.

 

2) Defendant solicitors do have a point. Her preference for the treatment of burglars could lead to her decisions being overturned and more wasted court time.

 

That is not to say that I don't sympathise with her position. Personally I think we should cut their hands off. But when you are in her position you have to be careful what you say and who you say it to.

 

She could have happily carried on working - jailing all the burglars she came across - if she kept her mouth shut.

Agreed - just a shame she did not engage her brain before she spoke out. But in fairness to her I do not know who she told that "all burglars should be jailed."

Why cut off the hand? because they use one hand for eating and one hand for toilet demands, therefore with only one hand they become unclean!
