Ruislip Manor 3 v 1 Eton Manor

Recommended Posts

Lost last night to a very poor but typical Spartan League side. Long balls and kicking lumps out of players. We looked very jaded last night on a very heavy pitch. But a lack of committment and discipline cost us the game. The better team on the night won but to all ESL Clubs you will not have seen a worse ref. In all my years playing football and coming up against bias refs this guy was appalling. Don't get me wrong we deserved to lose but the officials were criminal.

He made so many errors I can't name them all but the ones I can remember were:

Booking our player for arguing with his own player. Is that Bookable?

Allowing 2 two footed tackles to go and then booking our player for an innoculous challenge.

Allowing their forward to elbow our centre half. Him and the linesmman saw it but just had a word! If he has seen it surley it's at least a booking.

Allowing their centre half to lump our centre forward off the ball. Again he saw it as did the linesman but he booked our player for retaliation.

One of our players lashed out and as their player retaliated ours headbutted him. Definate sending off and probably a long ban. But their player wasn't even booked for aimimg a headbutt at our player.

To cap it off he deliberately antagonised Quinney by staring at him and making comments to try and get a reaction. It was a disgrace. To cap it all off one of our players was so disgusted and disheartened he walked off. He had appealled to the ref to stop antagonising people and to calm the situation down but his reply was disgusting. This from a very experienced player. It was wrong to walk off but I can't blame him.

We deserved to lose and our discipline was poor, myself included, which is what usually happens when everything goes against you. But the officials were truly terrible. I don't know how you go about making a complaint but these people need to be stopped because sooner or later something bad is going to happen.

We have played Waltham Abbey, Enfield and Romford over the past couple of seasons and its been a pleasure win draw or lose. You lot are a disgrace, an absolute shambles. Worst team we have played for ages and worst disciplined. You argued with the ref from the start even when he gave you the decision! The ref "antagonised Quinney", if he was your No4 - god help you lot - not come across a bigger foul mouthed lout in a long time. I think his outburst after the final whistle will see him reported and banned for some time (good news for the rest of the ESL)

The ref was poor but if you give him sh*t right from the start and moan like your guys did he's not going to do you any favours is he?

And yes you can get booked for arguing with your own players and technically if you leave the field of play without the refs permission then you can be sent off (a bit irrelevant if your player is so unprofessional he's walked off).

So you lost to a "very poor" SSML team god knows what that makes you!

Sorry to go on Mr Manor but your posting contains too much crap to go without a response. Hopefully you can sort yourselves out and enjoy the rest of the season.

No you don’t want to get into a slanging match because you haven’t got a leg to stand on in anything you say. I hoped you guys had a messageboard after last night’s match and I’m glad I’ve found it because I don’t think I have ever come across such a lot of foul-mouthed undisciplined so-called football players as Eton Manor. I think the moment the player left the field voluntarily, shook the manager’s hand and went to the dressing room shortly after the sending-off just typified what a Sunday morning park team you really are.

You accuse Ruislip of kicking lumps out of you. I will suggest that you consider that Ruislip Manor received no cards whatsoever. Conversely, Eton Manor received 5 yellow cards, a straight red card for violent conduct, their manager dismissed from the dugout and even one bloke walked off! A complete joke. The atrocious behaviour directed towards the referee both during the game and especially coming off the pitch at the end was nothing short of disgraceful. I heard what your number 4 said to the referee, suffice to say if that is reported you won’t see him for a very long time playing football. I don’t think the referee had a particularly good game, but not because he was ‘biased’ as you crazily suggest, but rather because he didn’t deal with your persistent abuse strongly enough.

The SSML is by far the strongest feeder league to the Ryman. Now that Enfield Town struggle to live up to their own standards of a couple of years ago, the ESL has no-one. And if your constant in-team bickering and general nastiness shown towards opponents and officials is anything to go by, I really am not surprised.

I cannot comment as to last night's game as I was not there. However, I would like to say that Eton Manor are a club that other ESL clubs praise one heck of a lot because of all the hard work they put in. The SSML may be stronger in depth due to the numbers but by no means are your top teams better than the ESLs. ETFC are joint top at the moment. Waltham Abbey have put tpogether a great run recently (albeit have had a blip) and Burnham are going great guns. Add to that the likes of Sawbo, Romford and Barkingside and you have some pretty good teams. Town have also knocked London Colney out of the Vase this year as well.

Havin played Manor 4 times this season i don't think in any of those games has there been disgracfull behaviour by either manor players or staff so i would not be supprised if ruislip manor did have somthing to do with what went on.

Move on Eaton Manor we know you are a credit to the esl and you all do a great job.

Yeah thats right, ESL clubs fighting together. (I don't seem to remember Enfield being in Essex if my geography's right, seems like a case of picking the easiest feeder to climb the pyramid to me, but I won't labour that point too strongly).

You only have to look at the tone taken by Eton Manor on their own website (especially the manager) to see what they really think. I read the boss's summary of the 1-0 loss at Enfield Town this morning - the criticisms of the officials are ridiculous. Infact I believe RM had a 'spy' at the game and he said something quite different.

RM's disciplinary record this season has been exemplary thank you very much, and I think we'll let the referee's report from last night do the talking.

Total crap mate, our manager was not sent off so your facts are wrong.Has for the Ref biased it was embarrassing he made trouble by letting your side kick ours and doing nothing but when we retaliate yellow cards coming out, also your number 5 spitting over 2 of our players and laughing.Going by that you must let this go on so it shows what type of people you really are.On a decent pitch we would murder your long ball boring tactics. Also f..k off our forum and bore back to your filthy ground with the rest of your ANORAKS has we all know looking at you lot last night your all related?

In my day entering or leaving the field of play without permission was only a cautionable offence (yellow card).

I rememebr because I booked a player for entering the F of P without per. in my first game as a ref.

Maybe it's changed since then.

Wow the strength of feeling by the good people of Ruislip Manor!, Could explain why we weren't spoken to by one committee member or even greeted with hello all night, not even offered a cup of tea on a cold, wet Monday night? I asked myself! If the feeling was so bad why not say something at the time?

We are used to good old ESL warmth and friendliness, all we got from yourselves when we asked to use the physio facilities, was no, we are using it for our players? What kind of hospitality is that for a group of people that had just travelled half way across London in the pouring rain. I must say myself and other board members enjoyed the banter as we queued up in the pouring rain to buy a cup of tea! Our fixture on Saturday with Enfield Town was an absolute dream in comparison to the treatment we received at your ground. Please take my advice pop over to Enfield Town and get some tips on how to greet people properly. You are a total disgrace to non-league Football, when your fans started to cheer the sending off that pushed me over the hedge!!!

To all the decent folk of RM, please accept our deepest apologies if we upset you last night, we were provoked beyond human tolerance.

To Mr Manor - you made your point and I made mine. Fair enough no probs there.

Billy - we have never seen the ref before (and hope never to see him or his flag happy linesman again). Thanks for your support in the next round.

Eton Manor -

Maybe not your manager but someone from your dugout was sent off.

Spitting! Do me a favour. You on drugs or what! Don't talk b*ll*cks.

If we hadn't of been slagged off I would not have made a posting in the first place.

Glad you liked our ground - when are you getting one?

Manor Born (of the Eton sort) - I have just called one of our committee guys re hospitality as what you said would make us well out of order.

Who are Neil, Barry and Natasha as they were in the boardroom at half time along with a couple of other EMFC people for tea and biscuits and Barry was presented with a RMFC pennant from us at the time. Only Neil came in at the end for a beer and sandwiches. Please check your facts. Are these people imposters or what? They claimed to be officials and as such were not charged at the gate. Were you at the game or has someone just given you this info. Some of your so called supporters do tend to talk a load of crap it seems.
