Running the Windsor Half Marathon and raising £1500 for Little Miss Happy's trip to Miami for dolphin therapy.

Becoming a Father.

 

Closely followed by opening the front door with my keys after a night on the lash. Quite a feat indeed.

WELL DONE, Mine has seen me beat cancer 4 times, twice life threatening,had the chemo for 4 months, another time told I had two years to live, next day then told false alarm and got the all clear all in the space of ten years, a breakdown, high blood pressure, chorlestral, period in intensive care and high dependant unit, watched my late mother day, BUT KNOW IAM STRONG AND HAPPY, so if I come across as a big head,I am not, its because I am so proud to be alive.

 

Just had to put the record straight

 

AND I am not the only one on here that has a story to tell of bad health, but we just get with things and eat the dinner whats put in front of us, dont we, I can talk about it, maybe some cant

 

BUT NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER, WE DONT ALWAYS SMILE, MOST OF THE TIME WE DO.

agree with shaun becoming a father was great looking forward to the second in june this year !

Was told at the age of 34 had to have emergency heart surgery, and if I was any older would not survive the operation. It was only a matter of time before my heart packed up and they saved me.....heavy stuff.

LEt me know if it get's worse with two. It's bad enough with a one year old girl. 50% Scouse and 50% Barnet nice mix.

Wow, pretty soul-searching stuff. I achieved survival once having been surrounded by a bunch of tooled-up Wigan fans after an FA Trophy game in 1973...now that was pretty scary.

Not becoming a delinquent and staying on the straight and narrow, despite losing both parents within the space of 6 months when I was 15.

Well, I have two girls plus the Missus and it's really hard. That's why I have to go to the pub on aregular basis for therapy!

I had 3 younger sisters and my mother when a was a wee slip of a lad back up north.

 

I thought I was getting away from the grief. How wrong I was
