Radio Coverage on BHR1287 and Radio Five Live

Morning guys!

 

To celebrate a stunning performance yesterday (apart from the last 5) I managed to get Billericay a mention on Radio 5 live's 606 show. You can download the show from their website www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive - it was on about 5 mins before the end (7.55pm Sat)!!! I think a global audience deserves to hear about our latest cup exploits!!

 

PS As usual we had our live feed to BHR1287 (that's medium wave) across SE Essex, for those unable to make any home (and selected away) games.

I heard it! Shame we didnt hold on for the result, or else i think we would have got much more coverage. Heres hoping City beat Man U on Wednesday, and we beat them the following week. Cue the "Billericay better than Man U" headlines.

On the subject of media coverage, if you go to google typ in Billericay, and then click on news stories, theres a few reports there from the papers on the game. Mostly ok, although the Telegraph did think we were singing "were going to wembley, were going to wembley, you aint". obviously havent been to a ricay game before.
