As I have consumed far to much of this wonderful elixer tonight (The reason I'm faffing around hear at this time of night) I remember I read on another forum beers in alphabetical order. As I Know the answers I will take no further part than this. Amstell.

Badger, Cobra, Directors, Everards, Fullers, Grolsch, Heineken, India Pale Ale

Grolsch is awful,any Pale Ale tastes like pond water.Alan Partridge's favourite tipple 'Directors' is nice.So is Fullers.Havn't tried Badger,Cobra,Everards.

 

I'm sure Cyclops will put us straight on beers.But he seems to have gone AWOL from these forums lately.

Cobra is an Indian beer available in most restaurants.

 

I have never tried Grolsch and dont think I would want to.

 

IPA is my drink when I can find it on draught. It is not strong with a pleasant light taste and therefore you can drink a lot of it.

"John" Courage beer. Will that pass? (I did cheat though) Looked up Brewing Beers Like those you buy. The author died an alcoholic.

I'm sure Cyclops will put us straight on beers.But he seems to have gone AWOL from these forums lately.

 

Cyclops' recent absence may be connected to an extended session in the gate at Sawbo last week. he was last seen there staring at the TV, which is fine. Except it was for around an hour! Still as he'd not long woken up from a short doze, perhaps he can be forgiven!

 

Not sure what he was drinking, but I can vouch that the Everards Tiger was spot on.

The absolute knig of beers is Adnams Broadside and Southport and I consumed a few pints of this nectar from heaven in the Old Wheatsheaf on Friday evening.
