And the Eastbourne game doesn't even get a mention in the fixture list. Perhaps it was just a dream! Lifting text from the NLP and as a result making it read that the club were responsible for Victor 'Galdwich' sponsoring the Conference Cup is an example of the serious mistakes that can be made without proper journalistic and editorial skills on board. Does the club care that this is a shoddy product?

They Had one but thought it best to get rid of him !!!!!!!!!
It was only a matter of time before the program started to go down hill again.

`I asume that you are refering to Paul Harrison MK2 as opposed to our excellent club historian (always very readable in my opinion )who used to edit the programme several years ago? To be fair to the club didn't MK2 resign? I don't think that we got rid of him.

A season ticket holder lost his season ticket after a couple of games this season, and the club refused to replace it. Apparently its the policy from this season onwards.

Therefore the individual would have had to either buy a new one or pay a tenner at the gate to watch the Fleet ( despite already handing over 155 quid.)

However a local businessman paid for a new one for him.

great piece of PR for the club... not

And I won't be renewing mine next year, unless changed.

Is it just a coincidence that the programme is going downhill faster than Franz Klammer since he left ! Or is it just my imagination.

Nope i've noticed it too, so must other's, perhaps when it gets to the state it was in before they might realise what a good thing they had and then got rid of.
He had a bit to much journal and publication knowledge for the clubs( Kilcullens) liking, hence giving the job to wicksy.

Home game on Saturday then home again 75 hours later so don't expect to much from the next programme.

I'm sure the club are doing their best and Wicksy seems like a nice enough bloke. What you lot seem to forget is that Paul Harrison left of his own accord, which I heard from Brian Kilcullens own mouth. Harrison's isn't the best PR guy in the world these people are like strikers one goes along comes another.

All the club need to do is realise what it is people expect from a match day programme (and as Jimmy will tell you I buy all sorts of crap from the club shop so for me I don't expect a lot). They need to pin point what it is that paul was doing differently and work on how they can achive that standard of programme.

Well i was told by Paul that he was not wanted any more and kilcullen told him that he intimmidates people within the club, and a lot more besides was said, so i dont think we will actually know the full truth. We will believe who we Know best,at the end of the day if one says one thing and the other something else, who knows? only they do.
Wicksy as you said is a nice bloke, and will always find time to speak to you but can he do the full program side of the job?
What you forget is that the first week after paul left the program was the same, only the back page i think was different( Gassa)So how come they cannot work out from that, the program also won an award so something was being done correct.

Sounds like a simple proof reading of the programme might help to erase some of the basic errors. The only complaint I have about the programme is that it is mostly adverts but then I understand the need to generate revenue. Maybe we need more contributors, and one of the ideas I feel you could lift from Hamilton Accies is including some of the fans views, and possibly some of the postings from this forum. I think the people in charge of the programme are doing a sterling job and we should give them full support.
