I reckon Jay is far more effective in midfield, and although he was OK at the back, that was all he was.

I would prefer a natuaral defender - even a full back alongside McCarthy. So long as they are strong in the tackle and quick they will cope. Macca should take care of anything in the air - and Wilko is big enough and ugly enough to take care of anything arial as well.

with my line up, if things are going well, Dukebox could push up into a 4-3-3, and with Prothers, and Jacko, there should be enogh crosses for Roy and pinns to feed off.

Let us not underestimate Eastbourne.

Therefore I would go for:

I have no doubt that the players the management staff and even the board read this site.

 

I understand why they don't post, but it would be nice every now and then.

I'm sure the management do keep an eye on this forum - generally I reckon we are a good representative cross section of Fleet's fanbase. What is said on here is probable thought and said all around the ground and by every Fleet fan. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/rasta.gif" alt="" />

It should give Andy a good feel for what the fans really are feeling.

Can't wait until we stuff Aldersh*t on Saturday. And I hope it is cols wet and windy for the away support, after the treatment they dished out to Conkers.

Back in the days when Andy was a part time manager and we had an official website.

Andy did use to post with his views and comments on a GNFC Managers forum. And much appreciated they were to.

Once the club took over the now defunct website this all stopped.

 

Another opportunity missed.

But there was a link from the official website to this forum,prior to the days that it moved from Daves' control.

As well as there being a GNFC managers forum on here that was removed moved once the club took over the official site.

Has anyone approached Andy about reinstating it ?

Again not cause and effect, the Forum wasn't being used so it has gone into storage when the site was updated.

 

It stopped being used because Andy didn't have the time to post on it, if ever he decides he has the time it will return in all it's glory.
