New year bank holiday two people I know were in films on tv.

Laura Burns now of Enfield Town ladies was in Bend it like Beckham and a bloke i know was seen from behind in a blonde wig being attacked by creatures in the film Labyrinth, the creatures were really his pet rottweillers dressed up and no stuntman would work with them and he was supposed to be a woman.

How limp-wristed is that! Didn't ask you to go swimming did he?

OK here we go then. Once held court at the bar in Venner's Scribes club with Dicky Bird, Laurie Sanchez, Devon Malcolm, Todd Carty, Nick Berry and one of the Mitchell brothers hanging on my every word. A gallon of Bacardi helped the cause! An actress (daughter of a friend and who shall remain nameless) once told me that Nick Berry kept getting a cob on when they were doing a kissing scene and this took a record amount of takes for said TV series! As it happens, Nick and Todd are really good blokes, or perhaps they were being nice to me, coz I was p!ssed!

Roger Daltrey, how small is he? Michael Heseltine, how tall is he? The plonker who plays Bo Selector. There are so many darlings, I could go on for ever!

But the main claim to fame is that I used to go out with Cheryl Baker before she changed her name.

No silly jokes about her making her mind up, they have all been done before.

Oh, and Abbeynut of course <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />.

Not much. Cricket is getting worse by the minute, Mrs Coup has gone to Cambridge to see one of her many sisters, no. 1 son doing what most 14-year olds do on a Sunday morning...Mope around the house with a face like thunder and the one I made earlier has gone to work.

So how bad was it yesterday? Please tell all as I am sure the Townies will be chomping at the bit waiting for all the sordid details.
