Won 4-3. Down to 10 men at the end after Mi Murphy sent off for two bookings. Parkin saved a pen and made one or two good saves, and their keeper saved a pen but Hodgey stuck home the rebound.

 

Never really thought we were in danger of losing that one.

Too much unnessary hard work, we had no reason to rest on that two-nil half-time lead and we nearly paid dearly for it.

 

Thought Hakki, Harris, Spencer, Parkin, Haddow and Carbon all had good games today, although based on today's performance, I'm much more comfortable with Allaway in goal.

thought parkin did himself proud today, that saved penalty made sure we didn't get an unnecessary trip to ikea land, and there was a close last minute attempt by hendon which he did well to keep out... also thought wilko and spencer were worthy of a mention today, and hodgey looked a lot more alive than in recent times

Wilko was my MOTM while he was on but he was substituted quite early so I would say Hodges for his workrate throughout the match. Spencer and Steer both looked good when they came on and Haddow and Carbon looked better with the 4-4-2 probably helping. Disappointment today was Hakki who I thought was our weakest player.

What were the subs today? Spencer for Matt Murphy and I remember Gyoury and Steer both coming on, but who for?

We really did make that hard work and made them look half decent at the end when (sorry Hendon fans) I thought they were the worst team we have played this season.

 

Everytime we went forward we looked like scoring, but in the second everytime they went forward so did they. Thought the formation made us look good attacking wise but poor defensively.

 

Saying that though Eddie had few options as with the injuries we are down to our only fit 12 players with injuries to Wilko and Matt Murphy.
