Notes from Met Police

Recommended Posts

The Fleet drew 1-1 with Met Police at Imber Court last night courtesy of Paul Booth's 86th minute equaliser.

The Police went ahead through a 33rd minute goal from Jason Prins.Turner only had one other save to make in the match which the Fleet dominated with probably 80% of possession.

At half time Che Stadhart and Jamie Coyle replaced Jimmy Strouts and Aaron Barnett, and ten minutes later Julian Charles was substituted to make way for Adolf Amuaka. On 63 minutes a Rob Owen header hit the foot of a post and a minute later Steve McKimm saw his shot cleared off the line.

After Booth's equaliser, Amuaka looked to have secured the win for the Fleet but his 88th minute strike was ruled offside.

Northfleet: Turner, Strouts(Coyle, 45 minutes), Skinner, Burton, Barnett(Stadhat, 45 minutes), McKimm, Smith, Owen, Booth, Charles(Amuaka, 55 minutes), Jackson.

Quite a strong team for the first time during the friendlies, and few substitutions. It seems that Andy is now considering trying out potential starting XIs for the Conference for the first time, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this for the last few matches before Yeovil, so that Andy doesn't approach the game at Dorchester with little idea of what his most cohesive team is.

Cheers for the updates Charles for those who couldn't be there - much appreciated. <img src="/forums/images/icons/grin.gif" alt="" />
