My grandad took me to my first game in 1970 at the age of 8.We were down here on holiday in the days when Margate was the place to come on holiday before councils forgot what a coastal leisure town is meant to be.

It seems alot of us are proudly stating how long we have followed the club.

 

Equally important is that we hear from/have posts people who may only have been supporting for 1/2 years ;even 1/2months; and even 1/2 days.

 

Club needs everyones support and maybe it will show and give confidence in fact that crowds of 800 in conf.south and 1800 in conf national are easily achievable.

 

 

 

maybe last weeks actions,and press have stimulated fresh interest and followers of the club.

Would be great to here that the club has new and young supporters aswell as us diehards.

daughter of fanatic geoffrey pay. First saw margate at home to Tonbridge New Years day 1995. 7 goals to 3. Seen thirty odd games since and bought all dads Margate gear for Xmas. Sam Walker- Supported the 'Gate Scince the Dover v Margate game at Hartsdown Park on Boxing day in 'Gate's first Conference season, have been to virtually every game scince then. And sponsor Rocky Baptiste's (away) shirt this season.

Graeme Poyser.9 years,since i moved to the area. Found it to be a good club with a friendly open bunch of supporters. Love the fact you can talk to any one from the Chair through the managment to the latest signing. If ever i move on again in the future i will continue to follow the Gaaaaaaaaaaaate.
