4-5-1 is probably the right option for saturday as long as we play it the way we did towards the end of last season. The two wingers become strikers when we are going forward but when canvey are in possesion help form a line of five in front of a bank of four (the defence) hopefully allowing us to break up any play they have in the middle, because i assume they will go with four in the middle and the extra man will be key.

If Bath go for this formation and are up for the challenge I could see this being a very difficult game. Possibly ending goalless. If we get bogged down in midfield we will not be able to create any flowing football to our forwards, who will then have a number of players still behind the ball to get past.

With Pearson returning to West Ham I would imagine that Lee would start the game and possibly be subbed later on if we are doing well.

Hope the lads are motivated for this one and not still dwelling on the game at Morecambe. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" />

It takes about 4 hours to get to Bath so about 9.30 to 10 would probably be OK.

Whoops! It's about 4 hours by coach so it'll probably be about 3.5 by car.
