Don't know if this in genuine but would like to think it is - this guy is a good journalist, sports nut and of course the former owner/chairman of Weymouth.

Surely worth looking into - Peter W, Cookie, MISA etc??

I am very concerned by things going on at Margate and would like to write about the situation in my column in The Observer on Sunday, if possible and if space permits.

 

I understand there is an important meeting tonight and there will undoubtedly be fall-out tomorrow. If any club official or fan would like to contact me with information at ian.ridley@observer.co.uk I will try to highlight the situation,hoping that it isn't too late.

i guess i could myself, but it did not seem appropriate as the official MFC and/or SA opinion would be more viable,and indeed i was not there last night
