Football Focus Feature on Saturday

Billericay will be featured on Football Focus this Saturday lunchtime.

 

The BBC are doing a feature on Exeter from Old Trafford to New Lodge in a week and previewing there FA Cup replay. A camera crew are coming to New Lodge on Friday to take pictures for the article which can be seen on Saturday.

 

Pictures of this game will also be appearing on the FA.Com website next week as another company will be filming the game.

 

In addition I am aware that the local press along with all the main national papers will have reporters and photographers at the game. The sunday morning trip to the newsagents could be rather more expensive this sunday.

 

What great publicity for the might Blues.

Isn't it a shame that it always has to take something extremely dramatic for the Media to ever look beyound their chosen handful of Premier League elite. Funny how they only then suddenly (& briefly) seem to remember that NL footy exists too?!

Superb, this is really good news for us. How ive waited to see New Lodge on the telly. Shame the focus is gonna be on Exeter, but if we win im sure well get some good coverage too.

Oh no, just found out that Focus starts at 12 but the Liverpool v Man U is on just after. Have to set the video recorder up then. Will they be showing the match at the bar?

The Gazette at New Lodge?? Covering the most popular local sport instead of something in Brentwood? Surely not. Next thing you know well be getting a mention in the Chronicle. Ok maybe not, not until we play Chelmsford anyway.

The Gazette have a sports reporter? Never knew that. I see there's a top of the table clash in the Wickford & District Table Tennis league between Wickford 'B' and Wickford 'C'. He might end up there yet!
