At least we know where that [****!!****] stands, probably our last chance saloon is a merger with our friends at stag meadow????? Sure that will happen in the end anyway as the only other opition is park football e.g Holyport away

If it were to be feasable, there would have to be a number of criteria for the club to move there, be financially viable and have a long term future. The council haven't thought the option through properly for a return there IMO, as they'd have to get the Thornes to agree to a hell of a lot for it to be a positive long term move for the club.

Never give up hope, while the ground still stands its always a possibilty. Plough lane stood for many years and my hope was that one day we would go home albeit as a non league club.Merton council stitched us up and thats why the move to milton keynes became necessary only 150 or so fans remain loyal and I suppose A F C W is the future for wimbledon now. What ever you do stick it out and dont make the same mistakes as Enfield did by splitting in two as that is suicide. YOU will win if you stick together and shout loudly enough.

erm not as anti were/are Slough but we realised the potenital it had but it couldn't work on a realistic level.

I mean could you imagine Windsor and Slough fans behind the same goal laughing and joking? It certainly would be very odd for a while!

Agree totally, but try explaining that to those at SBC. A merger should not be an option, nor should setting up an AFC Slough. We have a relatively good fan base for this level of football, the potential for bigger crowds has been shown by the FA Cup run, but will they help us secure the long term future of the club? Haven't seen any concrete evidence of any help yet from the current lot or the labour lot previous.

Lets be honest. The council will not help Slough. Slough will be in Windsor until a council come along who will back the club or Slough find a billionair who'll be able to buy a large plot of land for Slough to use. Until then...

Make yourselves home at Slag Meadow

The big problem Windsor will have is if we ever find ourselves in a position to move out. That £25,000 rent, bar take and food take adds up over a season I'll bet. Certainly don't think Windsor would be able to financially sustain a good a side as they currently have without us.

I was amazed by the turnout for the FA cup games, it does show a lot about what the town thinks of their club and the potential it has, but like they all say the problem is getting them to come back for your average league game.

It doesnt help that Stag Meadow is so awkward to get to, whcih i think could be a big part of the problem. Im sure if we could get the club back into Slough it could inspire some larger crowds.
