Your Urchin-Aid questions answered.... hopefully!

>>Bloody hell Dagger do you drive a tank or something?????

No - just a very dirty Renault - but my son insists on stopping for food - and as for Weston S-Mare, we stopped overnight, went to Cheddar, went to Wookey Hole, went to Stonehenge, and it was all the Urchins fault for having the opening match of the season there.

they were neck ties, and i beleive there were to be about 100 of them, the money set up as a loan to the club with the intent of the club to pay the supporters back, now the management has changed we are not sure if this will still apply.

PM the money to the injurred players was from a heart felt plea from the two Garry's the players were injurred whilst playing for the club as full time players and were injurred playing and were unable to earn any money.

If people could still come up with ideas and opinions with what to do with the money it would be appreciated

If the club do not intend to pay back the loan does this mean these very expensive ties actually belong to the supporters? "Title to goods" and all that.

As for the balance of the funds, would it be better to use the money to encourage more supporters to visit home games? Subsidising away travel would probably only benefit existing supporters (valuable as they are) but if the name of the game is to maximise the usefulness of the funds then encouraging new faces at the turnstiles might be a way. If the new visitors like what they see then they may evolve into "away" supporters.

excellent points distant echo.

Hows about this.

As Ian W. has posted elsewhere on the forum, a supporters club will soon be formed.

As this has come from Ian W, I assume this will be the 'for the many, not the few' club who do not want to take over the club, nor turn it into a private members club, nor try to invade Poland.

Which is what we all wanted in the first place.

How's about sitting tight on the money until more details about the official supporters club are announced? Then it will be a simple case of handing over the balance to the supporters club?

*just an idea, mind*

If we need some "Lebensraum" then an easier target could be Grays!

I must have missed the news concerning the possible formation of an official supporters club. Handing over the funds to the treasurer of this new club would seem an eminently practical and sensible idea. The committee could then discuss practical used of said funds.
