spend the money on more free coaches the team need your support home and away

Could not agree with you more Stone, especially as we have someone at the helm who doesn't mind telling us all that he's "worth a few bob" then maybe the fans can get something back from what they put in?

Like I said earlier, it's just an idea.

Plenty of time to decide.

As someone has previously posted it's not likely to make much of a dent into the alleged debt, i like the coaches option that way it can go back to those that put it in and support the team at the same time, don't forget there is still the matter of the outstanding debt to the coach firm that will need clearing

sorry, forgot the 'just an idea' disclaimer

perhaps the fans who do not come on the forum could be consulted via the matchday programme?

we could list a few options, such as.

Papini (IRE) 7-4

At Your Request 20-1

Golden Millenium (GER) 8-1

Mixsterthetrixster (USA) 8-1

See You Sometime 2-1

*just an idea, mind*

-£1,100.00 Loan to club for previously ordered new club ties
-£2,500.00 Money to injured players who had not received a wage
-£500.00 Money to make up players wages

I hope that £1100 is a lona and we do get it back as it is the supporters money.

Suggestion- THe HFC coach sitting unused in the car park. Rip the interior out so it seats 52 instead of 20 odd. Mend it, fix it the lot. Pay a driver everyweek and use that as away travel...

the money was raised to help the club or for the benefit of the club,i still think this should be the case, but does the club still need our money,i think we should hold on to it until unc tells us whats going on,if the club needs the money,it should go to them, every bit helps, but if not i am up for the weymouth idea,as its a bank holiday weekend, will be a nice day out

Having read this as someone who does not support Hornchurch, I'm not sure if the donations made to Urchin Aid would have been given so freely if people knew the money was going to subsidise supporters travel to an away match. Still, my suggestion, for what its worth, is why not give it to the Tsunami appeal?

I doubted very much that UA would be a success - I am delighted to have been proved wrong.

My one and only comment is that coach travel, if it is to be subsidised to any degree, should be done through the supporters club - is there one ? - and not through a charity fund raising night.

The organisers of the event have done a good job in allocating the money so far.

For the record, I travel by car to the away matches, and it cost well over £100 on at least three occasions this season - and it was money well spent.
