For your information I am obtaining costs to see if we can run a Coach service to Braintree.

 

The cost will not be as cheap as Ryan stated as we have to pay for the time the coach is out and for the driver and distance.

 

To give people an idea how much a coach does cost for this trip we are looking about £220 for a 24 seater coach.

 

If a replay is required on Saturday the best price we have is £800 as we would have to take an executive style coach which would require 2 drivers.

 

I hope this gives people a better understanding on coach costs.

£220 divided by a 51 seater = £4.50 a head.

Come on let's get a bus filled...beats having to find a parking space round that place, heaving with cheapskates heading to that second hand Freeport place...Having said that the local cheapskates are better off at Freeport..They have the view it is more entertaining than watching their local carrot team!!

how about we get the coach to go via freeport? drop off whoever wants to go shopping then onto the football? might stand a chance of filling it then

We will be putting a list outside the club shop on Saturday for people who are interested in going to Braintree by Mini Coach next Saturday.

 

The cost will depend on the number of people who put there names down but to make it cost effective to run we would need to fill at least 20 of the 24 seats.

 

Price would be around £8 for Adults and £6 for Concessions departing New Lodge at 1pm.

 

A decision will be made if this Coach would run on Sunday evening.
