DOVER GROUNDSHARE

If it is as seems to be the council kick us out couldnt we negotiate with the whites to play alternate week-ends down there and use crabble as a PERMANENT base. I know we have done this before but groundsharing on a temp. basis, and the ground is 35 mins away but it would keep this club alive.. I realise the costs may prevent this but our club ANYWHERE is better than no club at all. Perhaps a far more better negotiated deal with Dover this time could help us. Am clutching at straws here. We MUST survive.

It happened at Havant & Waterlooville, is there a conspiracy to amalgamate two struggling clubs into one (struggling!) club?

Those two clubs were the bitterest of local rivals and yet they have overcome an amalgamation. Dover & Margate Athletic?

Margate & Dover Athletic?

Stranger things have happened!!

Why Dover? Why not a ground share at southwood?. Less traveling and the rent would benefit a local club, and help with there improvments, instead of helping our former landlords and ex chairman. If the worst happens to us plus the Rams get there promotion then we would be the junior team any way. But as they say, it aint over til the fat lady sings. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" />

sadly we have to have our own ground by the start of next season or its bye-bye to the conference level - sure we could get in at jacky bakers when were playing county level football though!
